Probably depends on the artist, that picture doesn't look like it was done by the same artist as the other guildwars art.

But if thats the same assassin that's plastered all over the official site, the other artist doesn't make her look oriental either ? And from seeing the Assassin models in the pvp weekend she doesn't look like one either. Way too well-built. Looks more greek/latin to me. And the rit looks more arabic/turkish/indian, in my opinion of course.

Then again this is the company that decided to have Devona dual wield in the intro movie, got us all excited and then turned her into a hammer warrioress.

Have to concur with Andy_M...definitely much more athletic/fitness model looks...the assassian we got to try looked almost fragile and waifish.... I personally would like to see a fit assassian rather than a stick ninja, but that's just me. Definitely nice art for sure...

lol thats what i though from the artwork too....its like they wanted to make them look slightly asian but not TOO asian...lol...some of the in game faces from the preview event looked asian-esque though(well the male at least, i didn't check out the female face options)

Anyway, the art does look great, and I have one question/ Since I didnt really got into the new chars in the pvp weekend, do the Assa have a skill to throw all those small daggers from her armor?

So the current assasin is NOT fit? You call THAT fragile?!?! She looks rather butch to me...(ignore the hair cut)

I used photoshop to increase the contrast to make the 6 pack more obvious. Im sick of people calling the girl Sins skinny/anorexic/ or as you call them "stick ninja"

-.-;; *sigh* I think its because the assasin has a very boyish build (lean, muscular, smaller breasts, less feminine animations) compared to the softer lines (Bigger breasts, full waist and butt) of the female core classes. Assasins are the butch lesbians and the core classes are the girly girls.

The cover art of the assasin will probably a NPC or a Henchman thats why her face/hair are not available to players.
